About

The Story

LAYER BY LAYER is the culmination of my education, my hobbies, and my professional career. A reflection of where I’ve been and what I love to build.

I am a scientist by training, with a deep-rooted passion for 3D fabrication. My 3D printing journey began in parallel to my education in Biology and Neuroscience, where I first used 3D printing to create functional parts for research. What started as a professional tool quickly evolved into a personal obsession, spanning everything from intricate tabletop miniatures to sprawling terrain.

The Mission

I realized that high-quality 3D printing should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their space, time, or budget. I founded this service to support three distinct worlds:

  • For Hobbyists: Providing a streamlined "print-as-is" service for those who want the model without the overhead of a full home setup.

  • For Researchers: Helping fellow scientists visualize "the invisible," turning complex shapes like molecules and proteins into tangible objects for education and appreciation.

  • For Innovators: Creating bespoke marketing and motivational objects (like trophies and giveaways) that can be customized down to the individual level without the need for mass-production costs.

Today, my work lives at the intersection of scientific visualization, tabletop gaming, and industrial impact. I thrive on the challenge of a complex project and the satisfaction of finally holding it in my hands.

That is why I build, Layer By Layer.
